NetPulse ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Android application ("NetPulse") handles user information.

Information We Collect

NetPulse does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. The app works completely offline and does not require user accounts or login.

Permissions Used

• ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE – To detect whether the device is connected to Wi-Fi or mobile data.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE – To display live network speed in a persistent notification.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS – To show speed information in the notification (Android 13+).
• SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW – Used only if the user enables the optional floating speed bubble.
• READ_PHONE_STATE – Used only to determine general network type (Wi-Fi or Mobile). No personal identifiers are accessed.

Advertising

NetPulse uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect anonymous data such as device identifiers and ad interaction data in accordance with Google’s privacy policies.

Data Security

Since NetPulse does not collect or store personal data, there is no risk of data leakage. All processing happens locally on your device.

Children’s Privacy

NetPulse does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13.
