Welcome to DrawPad ("we", "our", or "us"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information of our users. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and safeguarded when you use our mobile application, DrawPad (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

DrawPad is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect or transmit your personal drawings, notes, or artwork to external servers.

• Local User Data: All your drawings, artwork, categories, notes, and custom app preferences (e.g., dark theme settings, fullscreen preferences) are stored locally on your device using on-device Room Database and DataStore preferences.
• Device & Usage Information: Anonymous diagnostic information and device metrics (such as device model, OS version, and app performance logs) may be processed locally for app functionality.

2. Third-Party Services & Advertising

The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device for ad serving and app stability.

Third-party service providers used by the App:

• Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to display banner advertisements within the App. Google AdMob may collect and process device identifiers (e.g., Advertising ID), IP addresses, location data, and app interaction data to deliver personalized or non-personalized ads and measure ad performance.

• Google Play Services: Used for app distribution, in-app updates, and system infrastructure.

3. Permissions Requested

DrawPad may request certain permissions on your device to function properly:

• Internet Access: Required to fetch advertisements from Google AdMob and check for app updates.
• Storage / Media Access: Used if you choose to export your drawings or save backup files to your local device storage.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Because all your drawing data and notes are saved locally on your device, you have total control over your data:

• You can delete individual drawings or clear the Recycle Bin at any time within the App.
• You can perform a complete reset of all app data via Settings > Data Management > Reset All Data.
• Uninstalling the App will automatically remove all locally stored drawing data from your device.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App is suitable for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take necessary actions.

6. Security

We value your trust in providing us your information. All drawing content remains securely on your local device. While no method of electronic storage is 100% secure, we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Any modifications are effective immediately upon posting the updated Privacy Policy.
