FineCoder Apps ("we", "our", or "us") operates the Lux Meter mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of information when you use our App.

1. Information Collection and Use

Lux Meter is designed to respect user privacy. The core features of the App process data locally on your mobile device:

• Hardware Ambient Light Sensors (Front & Rear): The App accesses your device's physical light sensor(s) to measure illuminance levels in real time (Lux / Foot-Candle). This sensor data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to external servers.
• Camera Permission (Back Camera Light Metering): The App requests access to your device's camera solely to estimate exposure values (EV), ISO, aperture, and shutter speed for camera light metering. The App analyzes video frame luminance locally on your device in real time. No images, videos, or camera recordings are ever stored, recorded, or transmitted.
• Saved Location Measurements: Any location names, light readings, or notes that you save in the App are stored exclusively on your device's local storage (SharedPreferences) and can be deleted by you at any time.

2. Permissions Requested

To provide its light metering capabilities, the App requests the following device permissions:

• CAMERA: Required only when you explicitly select the "Back Camera" mode to perform lens metering.
• INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to load advertisements provided by Google AdMob and to check for app updates via Google Play Services.

3. Third-Party Services & Advertising

The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify your device for advertisement delivery and analytics:

• Google AdMob: We use Google AdMob to serve advertisements within the App. AdMob may collect device identifiers, advertising ID, IP address, and coarse usage data to display personalized or non-personalized ads in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Services: Used for in-app update checks and core application distribution.

4. Data Retention and Security

All personal measurement logs and location bookmarks remain on your local device. We do not maintain any cloud databases or external servers containing your measurement data. You can erase all saved location readings at any time using the "Clear All" option in the App.

5. Children's Privacy

Our App does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take necessary actions.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
