GPS Routes Recorder ("the App") is developed to help users record their routes, view saved paths, add notes, and export routes. We are committed to respecting your privacy and ensuring your data is protected.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Location Data

The App collects your device's GPS location while recording routes. This includes:

• Latitude & longitude
• Timestamps
• Recorded movement during navigation

Location data is used only to record and display your routes. Location access is active only when you start a recording.

1.2 Notes Added by You

If you add notes at a location, the App stores:

• Note text
• Location of the note

1.3 No Personal Information

The App does not collect:

• Your name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Contacts
• Media files

1.4 No Account or Login Required

The App works completely offline and does not require creating an account.

2. How Your Data Is Used

Your data is used solely for the following purposes:

• To record your movement on the map
• To display your recorded routes
• To resume routes
• To generate GPX/KML exports
• To show notes you add

All data stays on your device. Your location history is never uploaded to our servers.

3. Data Storage

Your route data, notes, and settings are stored only on your device's local storage. You can delete any saved route within the App at any time.

4. Third-Party Services

4.1 Google Maps

The App uses Google Maps SDK to display maps and navigation visuals. Google may collect anonymous usage data as governed by their Privacy Policy.

4.2 Google AdMob

The App uses Google AdMob to show ads. AdMob may collect:

• Device identifiers
• Ad interactions
• Approximate location (for ad relevance)

Firebase Analytics

We may use analytics services like Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data.

5. Permissions Used

The App requests the following permissions:

• ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION - to record accurate GPS routes.
• ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION - fallback if precise location is unavailable.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE - to record routes while screen is off.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE_LOCATION - required by Android 14+ for GPS services.
• WAKE_LOCK - Prevents from go to complete sleep.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS - Show Notifications.

The App never uses permissions for any other purpose.

6. Children's Privacy

This App does not target children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

7. Data Sharing

We do not share, sell, or transfer your personal or location data with anyone.

8. Data Deletion

You may delete any recorded route at any time using the in-app delete option. Uninstalling the App removes all data permanently.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date.
