This privacy policy applies to the SnapSplit app (herein referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by finecoder (herein referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

The Application collects and processes information for the core purpose of providing bill splitting services.

Camera and Gallery: The Application requires access to your camera and photo gallery to capture or read physical receipts for OCR (Optical Character Recognition) processing. These images are processed locally on your device or via Google ML Kit.
Device Storage: The Application saves your split history and settings (such as your payment handle) locally on your device. This data is not uploaded to any external servers by the Service Provider.
Contact Information: While you may enter names of friends to split bills, the Application does not collect or upload your contact list. Interactions with friends are handled via standard Android Share Intents to third-party messaging apps (e.g., WhatsApp, iMessage).
