FineCoder Apps ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Sound Booster for One-Ear mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App.

We designed this App with privacy as a core principle. We do not collect, store, or transmit any sensitive personal information through our App.

Microphone Data (Audio)

• Purpose: The App requires access to your device's microphone to capture ambient sound for real-time amplification and L/R balance shifting.
• Privacy: Audio data is processed locally, in real-time, within your device's RAM. We do not record, save, or upload your audio data to any servers. Once the audio is played back through your headphones, it is immediately discarded.

Device Permissions

The App requests the following permissions to function correctly:

• Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Essential for capturing the sound that needs to be amplified.
• Notifications (POST_NOTIFICATIONS): Required on Android 13+ to display the active service notification.
• Foreground Service: Used to ensure hearing assistance continues when you switch apps or lock your screen.

2. Third-Party Services

The App uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

• Google AdMob: Used to display advertisements. AdMob may use your device's advertising ID and technical data to provide personalized ads. View Google's Privacy Policy.
• Google Play Services: Used for in-app updates and standard Play Store functionality.

3. Locally Stored Data

The App saves your user preferences (such as Dark Mode settings and selected Color Themes) locally on your device. This data is never transmitted to us.

4. Children's Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.

5. Security

The security of your data is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We use commercially acceptable means to protect any technical data generated by the App services.
