This privacy policy applies to the The Prompt: Video Teleprompter mobile application (herein referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by FineCoderApps (herein referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service.

The Application collects and processes information to provide the features of a video teleprompter. Below is a detailed breakdown of the data handled:

• Scripts: Your teleprompter scripts are stored locally on your device in a secure database. They are not uploaded to any external servers.
• Video Recordings: Videos recorded using the Application are saved directly to your device's local storage (Gallery/Movies). We do not have access to your recordings.

2. Permissions and Hardware Access

To provide its core functionality, the Application requires the following permissions:

• Camera: Required to show a preview and record video while you read your script.
• Microphone: Required to record audio during video sessions.
• Storage: Required to import/export script text files and save your recorded videos to your device.
• System Overlay: Required for the "Floating Screen" feature, allowing you to use the teleprompter over other applications.

3. Third-Party Services

The Application use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These include:

• Google Play Services
• AdMob (For displaying advertisements)

4. Advertising

This Application uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may use device identifiers and cookies to personalize ads and analyze traffic. You can manage your ad preferences in your Google Account settings.

5. Data Retention Policy

Since the Application stores your scripts locally, they remain on your device until you choose to delete them or uninstall the Application. We do not maintain any cloud backups of your data.

6. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case I discover that a child under 13 has provided me with personal information, I immediately delete this from our servers.
