This privacy policy applies to the Video Compressor app (herein referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by FineCoder (herein referred to as "Service Provider"). This service is intended for use "AS IS".

1. Information Collection and Use

The Application collects and processes information to provide its core services. This includes:

• Media Files: The Application requires access to your device's storage to read the videos you select for compression and to save the processed results.
• Local Processing: All video compression, conversion, and trimming are performed locally on your device. No video data is ever uploaded to our servers or shared with third parties.

2. Third-Party Access

The Application uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. These include:

• Google Play Services
• AdMob (Google) - Used for displaying banner advertisements.
• Google Play In-App Updates - Used to ensure you are running the latest version of the Application.

3. Permissions

To function correctly, the Application may request the following permissions:

• READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE / READ_MEDIA_VIDEO: To allow you to select videos from your gallery.
• WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: To save compressed videos to your device (where applicable).
• INTERNET: Required for AdMob to load advertisements and for In-App update checks.

4. Data Retention

We do not store your personal data or video files on any remote servers. Temporary files created during the compression process are stored in the Application's internal cache and are automatically deleted when you select a new video or start a new export process.

5. Children’s Privacy

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age.

6. Changes to This Privacy Policy

The Service Provider may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
